Award-winning communications leader, former spokesperson for WHO, IFRC, MSF, and trusted advisor to senior decision-makers. With more than 25 years of experience across global health, humanitarian response, donor engagement, and advocacy, Rana helps organizations build trust, mobilize resources, strengthen partnerships, and communicate with impact when it matters most.
Born in Lebanon and shaped by the experience of armed conflict and displacement, she believes communication is one of the most powerful tools for inspiring action, fostering understanding, and creating lasting change. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to humanity and to supporting people and communities facing crisis and adversity.
